Will the bank accept ripped checks?

-Today my mom woke me up early to go to a dentist appointment and I was still sleepy. She planned on going to the bank on the way there and asked me to rip the little creases connecting the checks. Being sleepy and confused, I thought she wanted me to rip up the check completely and I ripped it in 4 parts :[ Does Chase banks accept ripped checks?Nope. Going to have to write a new check.
