Can you mail in money?

-I signed up forseventeen mag. And need to pay $15.00, can i just mail them money? As in cash?You NEVER mail cash. It can get lost in the mail. The person opening the envelope can steal it. You only mail a check. That way the person opening the mail can't do anything with the check it he steals it, because it's made out to Seventeen magazine. If it's lost in the mail, then you can put a stop on the check and write a new check.



If you don't have a checking account (you didn't give your age), then give your parents the $15 and ask them to write a check for you.
NO NO NO. Go to 7-11, Wawa, almost any convenience store and get a money order.

A $15.00 money order will probably cost $15.00 plus a dollar or two for the money order.

It's much safer.



Also, can you have a parent write them a check and you pay the parent in cash. It will work the same way.
