How can I get my money from my parents?

-My grandparents left me almost $30,000 for college before my grandfather died. They gave it to me in various checks over 18 years. The checks all stated on them that they were for my college, but due to the fact that I didn't have my own bank account then they were signed over to my mother to hold on to. My mother and I do not get along and she has decided to refuse to give me the money now that I need it for school. How can I go about getting this from her?You have to be a kiss ***. Just tell her that you love her and do stuff for her that you normally wouldn't do. Then after a while just ask her for the money and she will give it to you. :)
Sue her, or call the police and have her thrown in jail for grand theft. She has committed a felony by not giving you the money.
