Does this sound like a good financial plan I have?

-I'm not sure if I will be able to go to college since I come from a poor family

I'm almost 16 years old and I already figured out a financial plan I have for the future

I'm going to be getting an apartment

apartment-400 dollars

food- 150 dollars

prepaid cell phone- 20 a month, I use it more for calls and not texts

internet- 40 dollars a month

water- 30 dollars

electric- 40 dollars

gas for car- 50 dollars a month, I don't plan on doing that much traveling

car insurance- 90 dollars

health insurance- 90 dollars



I don't want a landline phone or cable tv. I will also set money on the side just in case for car repairs and since I will be living in an apartment I won't have to pay a heating/gas bill

so what do you think?Food might be a bit low, but this seems very realistic.

Apply for grants (FASFA) too, they've helped me so much in college.

Start working soon and save as much as you can.
